The Art List: Valentine’s Day edition
“Every living creature must procreate to survive,” CANDO Arts Co-Op notes in the invitation to this show. “The natural world is filled with unique mating rituals for each species, and humans are no exception.” Those mating rituals for the basis of Sex, in which artists explore intercourse through a variety of media. Exhibiting artists will include Alissa Christine, David Zalben, Pascale Guinet, Julio Green, Jo Minaxe, Janet M. Mueller, Chi Lum, Maria Lankina and 22 others.
The show will open from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday and run through March 13 at CANDO Arts Co-op, 309 23rd St., in Miami Beach.
